So What Happened at Hoffy’s World..

I have been very busy working on multiple internet related projects over the last several months.  These projects required me to switch web hosts to accommodate the needs of these other projects.  These project have no direct connection “Hoffy’s World”, but I was not going to deal with maintaining site on multiple service providers.  This change also has given me the chance to thin out the clogged mess that had become of the old site.

I also would like to mention that my health has been troublesome to say the very least since September’s surprise heart attack.  This has slowed my pace on my personal antics and projects.  I have decided to use a whole new CMS platform for Hoffy’s World that I have come to like much more than Drupal.  Hoffy’s World is now WordPress based, and easily tied to both the Hoffy’s World Twitter and Facebook accounts.

I will be reloading photos, adding videos, and developing content on a daily basis again starting tomorrow.

Thank you for your thoughts, support, and phone calls when I suddenly vanished from cyber space.  beside you can’t get rid of my that easy.

Health Halts the Whole Happenings…..

Not much as come in the way of progress on the CCMRP over the last several months since September, those of you coming back to visit since the old Hoffy’s World website will know that toward the end of September 2011 I was met with a rather nasty heart attack.  Since that time I have been busy tending to some other projects unrelated to this website and yet the continuation of yet more illness.

These health related matters and my temporary absence from my railroad related antics have developed into a need to switch gears and reevaluate how things are being built on the layout.  Though I like the progress that has been made to date, I can no longer maintain to stand on the ladder I have been working with for the last couple of years building the layout.

After much discussion with my wife, son, & best friend, I have decided to completely scrap everything on top of the existing bench work and redevelop the layout by way of T-TRAK Modules.  This will afford me the ability to only remove the sections I need when I need them and work on them at my work bench.  Another bonus is unlike the original design if I ever have to move from the family homestead I can take the T-TRAK Modules with me, and expand as able.

I will be following up with more on this process as new development come about.
